Steve has been with Chrysalis since 2008.
Steve has held multiple positions within Chrysalis from Direct Support Professional, House Manager, Associate Director, and most recently as Host Home Program Director. He got his start as a Direct Support Professional in Provo in 2008 while going to school and working a couple of other side jobs. He quickly became attached to the individuals he worked with and his initial time at Chrysalis helped define his ongoing professional focus and passion of serving disadvantaged populations.
Steve graduated from Brigham Young University and founded a 501(C)3 non-profit community-based organization that he still voluntarily heads to this day to support education and sustainable development programs in rural Kenya, Cambodia and Uganda. Steve has traveled and lived around the globe and has led dozens of service expeditions to remote areas, all of which helped him gain a deep appreciation and affinity for diversity, culture and the plight of others.
Steve is happily married and is the proud father of two girls. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors, camping, trailrunning, backpacking, hiking and exploring the mountains and desert with his family and his dogs. He also loves photography, writing, reading and learning new things.
