Rich has been with Chrysalis since 2002.
Rich started working at Chrysalis in 2002 as a technical writer. One of Rich's first duties was to write a New Manager Training Manual and complete a Policy and Procedure Manual. Upon completion of the, tedious, nearly 1,000 page project Marc (President of Chrysalis) gave Rich a $50 gift certificate. While Rich was impressed with Marc's generosity, he was blown away by Marc's frugality and decided to come aboard as Chrysalis' Chief Financial Officer.
Rich's education includes a Bachelors with an emphasis in Constitutional Law and Criminal Justice and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Utah University. While at SUU, Rich played Outside Linebacker for the football team.
Rich's football experience helped prepare him for his greatest challenge as Chrysalis' CFO, keeping the President from spending all the company's resources. (As it turns out Marc's frugality with Rich was an isolated instance.)
On top of being Chrysalis CFO, Rich brings a multitude of skills to enhance the services Chrysalis delivers. As an amateur film maker, Rich designs, films and edits all of Chrysalis' training films and web based curriculum as well as the Heroes at Work segments. Rich also designs this website and all of its' web-based tools for employees, families and support coordinators.
Rich is married and has 2 boys and a girl. Rich is a private pilot and enjoys the learning experiences and challenges that flying entails. Rich enjoys spending time with his family, learning new things, volunteering as a certified workplace instructor for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University courses (Debt Free Living), and taking on new challenges wherever they arise. Rich embodies the motto of Chrysalis and Makes a Difference Daily at Chrysalis and in his community.
