Jared Chase - Director of Nevada Clinical Services

Jared has been making a difference with Chrysalis since 2010.

Jared received his Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in 2010. Jared joined Chrysalis' amazing team shortly thereafter and has held several different positions within the Chrysalis Behavior Department including Behavior Analyst, Senior Behavior Analyst and Clinical Director. Jared currently serves as the Director of Nevada Clinical Services and gets to work with an extraordinary team of dedicated Behavior Analysts throughout the state of Nevada who provide supports to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) through ongoing training and development.

Jared's diverse academic and professional interests include: evidenced-based practices and interventions for those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, systems analysis, Organizational Behavior Management, performance management, staff training, instructional design, Relational Frame Theory (RFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training (ACT). Jared uses this background to work with individuals supported by Chrysalis and to train staff. Jared has also published in the areas of performance feedback, goal setting, Organizational Behavior Management and Acceptance and Commitment Training. In addition, Jared is the Past-President of the Nevada Association for Behavior Analysis (NABA) and in this role has worked on legislation to improve quality of behavior analytic services in the state of Nevada and to increase access to services.

Jared is a native of Nevada and enjoys playing sports with his children and coaching their teams. In addition, Jared likes spending time outdoors, camping, boating, wakeboarding, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.
